The Mura and Flexa Move armchairs for the prestigious headquarters of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine

LAMM furnishes the auditorium in the hôtel particulier, a national monument located within the UNESCO-listed wine-growing region
From Paris to Dijon: the International Organisation of Vine and Wine leaves the Ville Lumière to establish its new headquarters in the hôtel particulier, a luxurious aristocratic residence built in the seventeenth century and meticulously restored to meet the needs of the intergovernmental institution. The new venue is designed to support the Organisation’s day-to-day activities and host international delegations. The Organisation brings together 50 Member States, including Italy.
Over two thousand square metres have been returned to their former splendour through a renovation that gives the Hôtel Bouchu d’Esterno—an officially UNESCO-listed monument located in a historic wine-producing region dating back to the Middle Ages—the appearance of a small Louis XIII-era château. The architectural project is signed by Fabien Drubigny architecte in collaboration with Bernard Quirot of BQ+A. Starting from its second centenary, the Organisation continues its mission to meet the challenges of the wine industry, promote sustainable production, and protect consumers. Beneath the terrace between the two wings of the historic palace, the architects have created a 97-seat auditorium illuminated by zenithal light.
This is where the 92 Mura armchairs and the 5 Flexa Move seats on wheels come into play. Already a winner in its original version of the prestigious Compasso d ‘oro ADI award, the Mura armchair by Gino Gamberini was selected for its compact, elegant form. Installed in straight rows on stepped tiers, it was chosen in the version with a low backrest, double side panels, and upholstery in rust-coloured, OEKO-TEX®-certified FR Trevira CS polyester—100% recyclable.
The newly designed Flexa Move armchairs by Dante Bonuccelli complete the furnishing. Equipped with a self-supporting frame and four swivel wheels, they are easily movable and ideal for flexible spatial configurations. Flexa Move, too, features the same rust-coloured upholstery.
