The elegance of the L213 armchairs serves the new Deloitte headquarters in Bari

A total investment of 75 million euros has gone into Deloitte’s new headquarters in Bari—already a key hub for the digital transition in Southern Italy and the wider country. It will soon be joined by an advanced centre dedicated to artificial intelligence

A new landmark supporting the digital transition of South Italy and the entire nation. Located at the Fiera del Levante, in Bari, the research and development centre of Deloitte – a leader in professional services to companies – was created from the renovation of the historic pavilions. The hub is the outcome of a 50 million euro investment, supplemented by another 25 million euros dedicated to establishing the upcoming artificial intelligence centre, a technological hub designed to transform essential business processes for companies.

The renovation of the public building – guided by principles of environmental sustainability and focused on enhancing historical elements while creating a stimulating, cutting-edge work environment – has revitalised part of the Apulian capital. It now offers the community a business incubator that supports the growth of new enterprises in logistics, sustainable mobility, and the space economy. The research and development centre, recently inaugurated based on a project by Esseelle Associati, covers an area of 9,000 square metres and houses 1200 workstations, as well as smart rooms, meeting spaces and a large auditorium.

Refinement, attention to detail, and the essential design of the 200 L213 – R&D LAMM armchairs make an important contribution to the creation of an elegant and lively ambience. Chosen in the version with a straight side and anti-panic tablet, the seats are installed in the auditorium in straight rows on stepped tiers with a centre-to-centre spacing of 55 cm. The green faux leather upholstery stands out among the wood tones of the panelling. The structure is embellished with bronze-coloured paint. The coordinated inclination of seat and backrest makes the seats extremely comfortable, even during extended use.

The HL3 chairs for IVAR, a symbol of Made in Italy

The versatility of LAMM seating serving the multifunctional spaces of the new “WORKSHOP” building.

HL3 chairs, designed by Lucci and Orlandini, furnish the new premises of IVAR, an innovative company at the forefront of hydronic systems and a leader in producing components for energy-efficient heating and water solutions. Its headquarters in Prevalle (Brescia) expanded with the addition of a new iconic building, the WORKSHOP, designed by MDNS architecture. The structure reflects the company’s brand identity: an orange cube whose façade opens to the surrounding landscape, revealing a concrete and glass core. This architecture embodies the company’s DNA: technology, innovation, and dynamism.

The multifunctional areas within the WORKSHOP overlook the hills of Lake Garda and are primarily designed for training sessions with clients, designers, and installers. However, the flexible layout also accommodates exhibitions, workshops, social events, conferences, and public gatherings. These activities aim to strengthen IVAR’s connection with the local community, in the country where the company was founded and continues to grow. The extreme versatility of the HL3 – Lucci and Orlandini chairs serves these new environments.

Among the many available combinations of materials, upholstery, types and accessories, IVAR selected the fixed version with a four-leg base and polished aluminium armrests. Each chair is equipped with a writing tablet featuring an anti-panic movement. The seats and backrests were also selected in their upholstered version. Both are covered in orange faux leather to reflect the brand’s identity. The structures are painted in semi-matt black (RAL 9005). The supply is completed by six dollies for transporting stacked chairs.
