A training centre for the medical field that brings together institutes for the education of healthcare professions and the faculty of medicine and pharmacy. In Saint-Martin-d'Hères, not far from Grenoble, a cutting-edge centre has been established as part of the French reform of healthcare professions. The campus, which accommodates over 3500 students, is designed to facilitate teamwork through its innovative structure, conceived to encourage dialogue and, therefore, the sharing of knowledge and experience. The three large lecture halls are enlivened by the colours and wood of the Runner study-benches – design by Lucci and Orlandini – with tip-up writing tables. The alternating red and orange tones are provided by the 100% recyclable Trevira CS polyester fabric, OEKO-TEX certified. The warmth of the wood is given by the continuous backrest panels in HPL bilaminate with an oak finish by Abet Laminati. The first row features special solutions for workstations dedicated to PRMs, equipped with a large tip-up writing table and short front panels in bilaminate.
