Custom furniture was supplied for the new Urban campus at the prestigious Bocconi University in Milan. The University has grown over time, striving for exceptional standards, which its buildings also represent. The latest is the new site designed by Japanese architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa from the Tokyo-based SANAA firm (awarded the prestigious Pritzker Prize in 2010). For this state-of-the-art complex, which has 17 thousand square metres' worth of greenery, is open to the city and is totally eco-sustainable, LAMM was asked to develop, in collaboration with Dante Bonuccelli from Avenue Architects, innovative educational systems to be installed in the various spaces involved in the project, including study desks, armchairs, tables and fixed platforms (bespoke solutions), confirming the company's ability to satisfy increasingly complex design requirements, combining minimalist design with the highest standards of quality and comfort.
