Bocconi University, a leading European institution, is renovating the Aula Maggiore in its first building, “Sarfatti 25,” designed by Giuseppe Pagano. Named after Roberto Franceschi, a student who lost his life in 1973 during clashes outside the university, the hall has undergone regulatory and technological renovation works while preserving the original architectural character. The inclusion of 360 Flexa—Dante Bonuccelli armchairs contributes to the project’s objectives. The first-row seats feature an enlarged side to house tip-up foldaway writing tables with anti-panic movement; the remaining rows feature writing tables and power sockets in the backrest and were designed with narrower sides. All seats are made from 100% FSC® C134805 certified wood and upholstered in faux leather. The supply also included four special modules for disabled people and a fixed platform with both flat and sloped sections.
