F50 armchairs were chosen for the conference room, in Lainate (Milan), of Fanuc Italia, a subsidiary of the Japanese giant of the same name, which is a pioneer in the development of CNC and automated systems and industrial robots, and has 264 branches in 108 countries worldwide. Designed by Tekne Ingegneria S.p.A, the new headquarters (LEED gold certified) for the second largest Fanuc subsidiary in Europe in terms of turnover and number of employees comes at a time of positive growth for the company. In the conference room, which is equipped with a control box, video projection system and multimedia desk for speakers, the F50 armchairs are upholstered in black faux leather and there are a few seats in the middle with grey upholstery to provide a contrasting touch. Each armchair has a foldaway tip-up table with anti-panic motion, a HPL laminate writing top and a moving die-cast aluminium joint. The place and row numbers provided round things off.
