The furniture for the Art House Cinema, which is the art house screening room of the Future Art Lab, the new multifunctional building at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, was supplied and installed by LAMM. At the heart of the Future Art Lab, designed by Pichler & Traupmann, is the cinema hall. The elegantly designed L213 armchairs provided have inclined sides that are fully padded and upholstered in Kvadrat’s Field 2 fabric. The seat and backrest of the chairs arranged in straight tiered rows have coordinated inclination. The 30 armchairs in the first three rows are equipped with a tip-up writing tablet with anti-panic motion. Of these, 10 have a double electrical socket that is easily accessible in the front of the side panel. In the middle of the room, 15 armchairs divided into groups of two and three, can be easily removed.
