A welcoming and vibrant setting promoting the creation of a community of researchers, students and companies: these were the driving forces behind the fitting out of the two main halls of the “Dialogue Centre” at the renowned Wageningen University & Research (WUR) campus (Netherlands). Exclusive solutions — bolstered by the numerous ways in which the Baldanzi & Novelli-designed C100 model can be customised — were adopted for both halls of the centre built to foster dialogue between scientists, companies and experts in nutrition, climate science, health and biodiversity. The warm colours (two shades of beige, yellow and warm grey) of the 272 faux leather-upholstered chairs in the “Dialogue Hall” emphasise its cosy, comforting setting. More than half of the armchairs are fitted with a tip-up foldaway writing tablet. The “Promotion Hall” has 108 Spradling Silvertex-upholstered C100 chairs in five alternating shades (umber, wine, silver, taupe and champagne), half of which are equipped with an electrical system.
