Tulip armchairs, with their compact shape and round lines, have made their way to Athens at the new headquarters of the Anangel Maritime Group, Greece's largest maritime group. Spanning 30,616 square metres, the headquarters is among the most prominent buildings ever built in Athens for the private sector. Designed by Sparch Architects, the curvy, sinuous building is divided into two sections connected by suspended bridges. The shape of the complex evokes that of a ship. The lighting design for the rooms and façades, expertly done by Eleftheria Deko Lighting Design, won first prize at the Darc Awards. The Athenian building's LEED Platinum certification recognises its quality in terms of sustainability. In this illustrious setting, Tulip armchairs designed by Bartoli design were installed. Bar-mounted and equipped with a writing tablet, these are arranged in tiered rows.
